I. POSITION SUMMARY:The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a member of the long term care healthcare team, who, working under the direct supervision of the registered/licensed nurse, organizes and implements certain aspects of the care plan, such as checking vital signs, providing bath and hygiene care, meal assistance, and assistance with ambulation and transfers. The CNA communicates in a timely manner with the patient, family and healthcare team, and documents care per hospital protocol.II. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:· Nursing assistant certification in the State of Montana required. |
